QUALITY

In June 2015 Chapmans obtained a certificate of conformity of the factory production control for CE Marking (now known as UKCA) of our products as part of BS EN 1090-1:2009 + A1:2001 to Execution Class 2 (EXC2). This harmonised standard covers fabricated structural steelwork of steel structures and aluminium structures. Chapmans has achieved this marking year on year.  It also forms the foundation of our quality procedures via our Factory Production Control system. To complement our FPC system we work with a bespoke in-house QMS for operational procedures, allowing us to gain and maintain ISO 9001 accreditation.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Health & Safety is observed with sincere earnest. Our Management Team has worked extensively within the Oil & Gas and Aviation industries; Health & Safety of our Employees and Clients is never an after-thought, never compromised, it is built into the very fabric of any task we undertake.  Our commitment is demonstrated through our Constructionline Gold Membership and ISO 45001.  As well as our own trained staff, Chapmans are engaged with a Chartered External HSE Advisor to provide on-going monitoring and ensure we are up to date with any legislative changes.
